30th Arts North International 2025

This juried, physical exhibition will be held at Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343, from Saturday, January 11 – Saturday, February 22, 2025. A loading area is located directly in front of the center for in-person drop-off and pick-up, with free parking available at the parking ramp at 26 10th Avenue S. The opening reception is Saturday, January 11, 2025, 4:00 – 6:00 pm.

Media accepted include painting (acrylic, oil, encaustic, alkyd), ceramics, drawing, textiles/fiber, glass, mixed media, pastel, printmaking, photography, sculpture, digital (drawing, painting, sculpture—no video), and watercolor/watermedia (gouache, tempera, casein). Maximum width of wall-hanging work is 60 inches. Suites, diptychs, triptychs, and other multi-object works are accepted only if mounted in a single frame or on a common base. Free-standing sculpture must fit through a standard door space and be light enough for a manual dolly. All hanging work must be properly framed with a hanging wire (no sawtooth hangers). Excessively fragile work will not be accepted.

Entry fee is $39 for three images/entries, with additional images at $6 each. A maximum of 10 images may be submitted, with up to 3 artworks selected for exhibition. Entries must be original work completed since January 1, 2022 and may not have been exhibited in previous Arts North exhibitions. Open to all living artists internationally. More than $10,000 in awards are available, including Best of Show ($3,000), 2 Awards of Excellence ($1,000 each), 2 Awards of Merit ($500 each), and First, Second, and Third place awards in media categories. Additional Special Awards ($100+) will be selected by sponsors. Accepted work that artists choose to list for sale will be sold through Hopkins Center for the Arts, which will collect sales tax and retain a 30% sales commission. Artists will be notified of jury results on or by Friday, December 6, 2024.
