30th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition

The 30th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States. Work in any medium using paper as a component part is eligible. All artwork should be original and completed in the last two years. Artwork, including frame, should not exceed 40" in any dimension.

Artists may submit no more than three entries. Each entry must be individually labeled with artist's name, title, primary medium, presentation size, year completed and price. The entry fee is $35 (non-refundable), which entitles the artist to a maximum of three entries. Submissions must include 1-3 images in JPEG format, no larger than 1920 pixels on the longest side, at 72 ppi/dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Entries can be submitted via the CaFÉ website or on compact disc via postal mail.

The juror is Gia Hamilton, Director of the Joan Mitchell Center, New Orleans. $3,000 will be available for the purchase of works for the McNeese State University Works On Paper Permanent Collection. The exhibition runs April 6 - May 12, 2017, with an opening reception on April 6 (6-8 p.m.). Notification of acceptance is March 10. Accepted artworks must be received by March 24 and must be suitable for formal gallery presentation and packaged shipping. Works are insured while on exhibition. A 40 percent commission will be charged on all artists' sales by the Grand Gallery. Each entrant will receive a copy of the exhibition catalog.
