About This Call
The 2nd International Phone Photography Competition is open to photographers 18 years of age or older, excluding members of fotofoto gallery. Images must be captured using the camera on any phone. There is no theme for the competition.
Approximately 30 photographs will be selected for a three-week exhibition in August 2016. Accepted images will be printed by fotofoto gallery and installed salon-style in the gallery space. The exhibition runs August 3-27, 2016, with a reception on Saturday, August 6 from 5-7pm. Juror Karen Klinedinst will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, with awards of $200, $100, and $50 respectively.
Submissions must be made via the CaFE system. Entries require a minimum of 5 images and a maximum of 15 images. The entry fee is $40 for 5 images, with an additional $5 per image for submissions 6-15. The deadline is June 12, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications will be sent by email on June 28, 2016. fotofoto gallery is located in Huntington, New York and is open weekends and by appointment.
