2nd International 2D Art Exhibition - $7,000+ Cash Awards

The Soul of Artists Award is an international competition open to all artists 18 years of age or older who produce original 2D art. The competition offers $7,000+ in cash awards: 2 winners receive $2,000 each, and 9 runners-up receive $400 each. Finalists will be chosen first, then award winners and runners-up will be selected from the finalists.

Artists must submit a minimum of three artworks and can submit up to fourteen artworks. The first artwork image is included in the $25 application fee; additional artworks incur a $6 media fee each. Eligible works include paintings, drawings, one-of-a-kind prints, collages, quilts, fiber works, mixed media, and other traditional or non-traditional 2D works. Digital works are not currently accepted. Photographs that are one-of-a-kind and combined with other non-digital materials are eligible. Artworks must have been created within the last ten years (2014-2024). There is no size limit. Works that have previously won cash awards in another juried exhibition are not eligible.

Submission dates are September 5, 2024 through November 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Finalists will be notified on January 10, 2025, and winners on January 31, 2025. The online exhibition runs from February 15, 2025 through February 15, 2026. Finalists and winning artists will be posted to the Soul of Artists website and social media. All artists retain ownership of their work. Past Soul of Artists cash award winners ($2,000) are not eligible to apply again; past runners-up ($400) are asked to wait until the next contest before applying again.
