2nd Inland Northwest Juried Landscape Art Exhibition

The Jundt Art Museum at Gonzaga University presents the 2nd Inland Northwest Juried Landscape Art Exhibition, on view June 1 to August 24, 2024, at Jundt Galleries and Arcade Gallery. The reception and awards ceremony will be held Friday evening, May 31, 2024, 4-7pm, and is free and open to the public.

This juried exhibition seeks to present the diversity and dynamism of contemporary artistic activity in the Inland Northwest while celebrating the relationship between art and the local landscape. The exhibition is presented in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Expo '74, celebrating the legacy of creativity, community, and environmental stewardship. Works will be selected by the museum staff based on artistic quality and merit, adherence to the landscape theme, alignment with the themes of creativity, community, and environmental stewardship, the educational and professional achievements of the artist, and observance of application guidelines.

Eligibility is limited to residents of specific counties in Washington and Idaho. Artists may submit up to three works of art. The entry fee is $25. First prize is $1,000, second place is $500, and honorable mentions receive $250. Finalists will be notified by February 5, 2024. Award winners will be announced at the reception on May 31. Submissions must include a biography documenting major educational and professional achievements, and proof of residency is required.
