About This Call
Trinity Episcopal Church invites artists to submit work for the 2nd Annual Trinity Episcopal Church National Juried Exhibition. The exhibition theme is "Who Is My Neighbor?" and aims to encourage artists to create visual art providing a unique perspective on the Christian view and experience in contemporary life.
Eligibility: Open to all artists residing in the U.S. Original artwork produced in the last two years depicting subject matter related to the theme is required. Work cannot have been previously exhibited in Sacramento within the last two years. All work must be for sale. Accepted media includes two-dimensional artwork including work with high relief not projecting more than 9 inches from the plane of the artwork. Submit 3-6 images online. Entry fee: $45 for up to 3 entries; $5 for each additional entry (limit 6 entries per artist).
Prizes: Total cash awards of $5,000 including First place $3,000, Second place $1,500, and Honorable Mention $500. Juror: Brett DeBoer, Chair, Visual Arts Department, University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA. Accepted work will be exhibited in Sacramento from October 5-26, 2018. Artwork must be shipped or delivered between September 18-20, 2018 by 5 pm PST. Artists receive 60% on sales of their work. Unsold artwork must be picked up on October 30, 2018, 1pm-5pm; a late fee of $10/day applies after that date. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a return shipping label. Notifications of acceptance: August 28, 2018.
