2nd Annual Shelley Lazarus Award for Excellence in Watercolor Exhibition

The Second Annual Shelley Lazarus Excellence in Watercolor Award Exhibition 2024 is open to artists 18 years and older residing in the United States who paint with the watercolor medium. The exhibition runs from March 6 to March 29, 2024, at TAG Gallery in Los Angeles. A gallery reception and awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Three cash awards will be presented: 1st Place $750, 2nd Place $500, and 3rd Place $250, along with six Awards of Excellence. Jurors are Sally Lamb and Shelley Lazarus.

Entries must be original watercolor paintings of the artist's own execution that have not previously been shown at TAG Gallery. Artists may submit up to five original watercolor artworks as high-resolution JPG images. Maximum artwork size is 42 inches high by 38 inches wide framed. The entry fee is $30.00 for one entry, with additional entries at $5.00 each. All submitted artwork must be for sale and include a 40% commission to TAG in the list price. Acceptances will be announced by Friday, February 10. Artwork delivery and check-in occurs Wednesday, February 28 through Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or may be shipped by Saturday, March 2, 2024. Artwork pickup is Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Shipped artwork must be returned by Saturday, April 6, 2024.
