About This Call
International Society of Acrylic Painters 2nd Annual Online All-Member Exhibition
Two paintings per artist may be entered as digital entries only. The entry fee is $35 for up to two entries, payable through PayPal. Only one entry per artist will be accepted. Submitted digital images must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, in JPEG format only, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. No more than 75 paintings will be accepted. Work must conform to the concept of being 80% acrylic on any surface. Entries cannot have been previously accepted in any other ISAP show. Images can already be sold, but artists are encouraged to price their work. The work is subject to the conditions of the show and reproduction will be archived on the ISAP website. No refunds.
John Salminen will serve as juror for both show acceptance and awards. Cash awards include: Best of Show ($800), First Place ($700), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), Fourth Place ($200), Fifth Place ($100), and Honorable Mention (4 awards at $50 each). Donor awards include the HK Holbein Award of Excellence ($500), Acrylic Artist Magazine Award of Excellence ($500 with subscription and coverage), Richeson & Co. Award ($100), Ampersand Art Award ($100), Golden Artist Colors Award ($100), M Graham Award (paint set), and Creative Catalyst Productions Award (DVD certificate).
Timeline: Entries open July 12, 2017. Show closes to entries October 13, 2017. Jurying occurs October 16-27, 2017. Acceptance notices will be sent October 27, 2017. The show and awards will be posted on the ISAP website November 3, 2017. No work completed in workshops or classes by any instructor is eligible. Inappropriate subject matter may result in non-acceptance. All results are final.
