2nd Annual MINT Gallery All Media Juried Exhibition: Here to GO

MINT Gallery announces an all-media juried exhibition titled "Here to GO," the 2nd Annual Juried Exhibition for emerging artists. The exhibition will be hosted at MINT Gallery in Atlanta, GA from January-February 2015, with an opening reception on January 10th, 2015. Co-jurors are Atlanta artists Craig Dongoski and Pam Longobardi.

Eligible artists must be at least 18 years old and currently reside in the United States. Emerging artists are defined as those with minimal solo exhibition experience, minimal published arts criticism, and minimal grant/private funding. All media are welcome including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, glass, metalwork, photography, video, audio, mixed media, installation, and performance art. There are no limitations on scale or content. Artists may submit up to 6 samples total—up to 6 images, up to 3 video/audio files, or a combination. The entry fee is $35.00. Works must be delivered to MINT between January 5-7, 2015. Artists are responsible for shipment to and from MINT. Selected participants will be notified of acceptance by the week of December 14, 2014.

The jurors seek to showcase work that defies consensus reality or the status quo with disruptive innovation. Applicants are asked to submit works created within the last three years and are encouraged to designate submissions as either "Absolute Best" or "Absolute Worst." Prizes will be awarded for "Best of Show" and "Worst of Show" based on a blind jurying process. One artist will be selected for a solo exhibition at MINT during summer 2015 and will receive an honorarium, supplies from Binders Art Supplies and Frames, free accommodation at the Highland Inn during installation week, an installation assistant, and additional prizes from local businesses and organizations. All artists traveling to Atlanta for the opening will receive discounted accommodation at the neighboring Highland Inn.
