2nd Aion Digital Art Prize (2026–2027)

Aion Laboratory, a division of Ise-Shima Art Company in Japan, invites entries to the 2nd Aion Digital Art Prize (2026–2027).

Open to artists of all nationalities and ages, including artists in all 50 US states. Individual and collaborative works, including previously exhibited or awarded works, are eligible.

Eligible practices include digital and electronic art, interactive installations, multimedia, video art, animation, sound art, music, AR and VR.

Deadline: 1 March 2027, 23:59 GMT.
Entry fee: JPY 3,000 per work, non-refundable (approximately USD 19 as of 25 September 2026). The fee is charged in Japanese yen; the USD amount is an indicative conversion and will vary with exchange rates. Each additional work requires a separate application and fee.
Awards: one Grand Prize of JPY 50,000 and a printed certificate; up to 35 Aion Digital Art Prizes with certificates.
Results: 5 May 2027.

Submit a hosted link to the work and a description using the online application form, then pay the entry fee. Keep the work accessible until results are announced. No travel is required. AI-assisted works are accepted if their use of AI is explained; works made solely by AI are ineligible. Artists retain copyright; the complete rules set out the organizer's promotional and exhibition permissions.
