29th National Juried Photography Show and Sale

The 2023 Louisville Art Association National Juried Photography Show and Sale takes place in Louisville, Colorado, running from May 26 – June 4, 2023, overlapping with the Louisville CO Memorial Day weekend events. Jeff Johnson, an award-winning photographer and workshop leader, serves as judge and juror.

Entry Requirements: Submit 3-6 digital images in .jpg format (minimum 1200 pixels on longest edge, maximum 5 megabytes). Images must be original work not previously shown in LAA National shows. Entry fee is $40 for the first three pieces and $10 for each additional entry (limit 6 entries per person). Images are organized into four categories with Color and Black & White/Monochrome options: People, Animals & Wildlife, Nature Created, and Human Made. Digitally modified images are allowed. Work must be suitable for a general audience with no frontal nudity. Frame size limit is 48 inches on the longest side.

Prizes and Details: At least $6,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded including Best in Show, First Place in each category, Artistic Achievement awards, and People's Choice award. Accepted artists may also display up to 6 pieces of matted unframed bin work, greeting cards, and individual cards. All sales are conducted by LAA with a 25% commission charged on sold work. Notification of acceptance is April 14, 2023. Shipped artwork must arrive by May 19, 2023 with prepaid return postage. Hand-delivered work must be brought May 23, 2023 between 1:00pm-6:00pm to the Louisville Center for the Arts, 801 Grant Ave. The Awards Reception is May 26, 2023 at 7:00pm. Work pickup is June 4, 2023 between 5:00pm-6:30pm. Unsold work not picked up will be donated to charity.
