28th Annual Members Juried Exhibition

The Griffin Museum of Photography invites member photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in the 28th Annual Members Juried Exhibition. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome, with no theme requirement. The museum welcomes all forms of photographic image, including moving image, installation, public works, and experimental techniques. Approximately 60 photographs will be selected for exhibition.

Eligibility is open to all active member photographers with current membership through April 2022. Members can submit up to 5 images as jpeg files sized to 1920 px on the longest dimension (72 dpi) in Adobe RGB or sRGB color space. Dual/family level members ($75 or above) may submit up to 8 images. Entry fees are $25 (early bird pricing through March 21) or $35 (standard pricing March 22 - April 15). Submissions close April 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.

Awards include: $1,000 Arthur Griffin Legacy Award, $500 Griffin Award, $100 Honorable Mentions (5), Director's Prize with exhibition and catalog, Purchase Prize for Griffin Contemporary Collection, and 4 Exhibition Awards for June-July 2023. The exhibition runs July 7 - September 4, 2022, with an artist reception July 10 at 4 p.m. Online artist talks will be held July 21, August 3, and August 18 at 7 p.m. Selected artists will be notified by May 16. Artwork must be framed and ready to hang; artists pay shipping costs. The Griffin retains 35% commission on artwork sales. A catalog will be produced, and an online digital showcase of non-selected photographs will be available.
