28th Annual Juried Exhibition

The Fine Arts League of Cary invites artists aged 18 and over with residences in North Carolina and surrounding states to submit work for the 28th Annual Juried Exhibition. Membership in FALC is not required. The exhibition will run from May 17 through July 3, 2023, at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary, NC 27513.

Artists may submit up to three pieces of 2-D artwork in any medium, style, or genre, including mixed-media and photography. Art reproductions, giclees, and art prints are not eligible. Maximum artwork size is 38" x 48" including frame, and artwork must not exceed 50 lbs. Only one piece per artist can be accepted. The entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) for up to three pieces. Artwork must be family-friendly, originally conceived and self-created by the artist, arrive dry and ready to hang, and be available for purchase. All artwork must be hand-delivered on May 16, 2023 (12-6 pm) and picked up on July 5, 2023 (12-6 pm). Shipped work will not be accepted.

The exhibition will be juried by Susan B Hecht, a North Carolina artist and associate member of the American Impressionist Society. Awards include 1st Prize ($1,000), 2nd Prize ($750), 3rd Prize ($500), and five Honorable Mentions ($50 each). A reception and awards ceremony will be held on May 26, 2023 (6-8 pm). FALC receives a 25% commission on all sales. Artwork must remain in the exhibition for the duration of the show, even if sold. Submissions are handled exclusively through CaFE.
