27th Annual International Society of Experimental Artists Juried Exhibition

The International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA) hosts its 27th Annual Juried Exhibition from September 7 to October 28, 2018 at OCCA/VAC - Runyon Gallery in Newport, Oregon. All artists 18 years and older are eligible to enter.

Artists may submit up to two pieces in any media except video. Work must have been completed within the past three years and not previously shown in any ISEA exhibits. Entry fee is $55 for non-members and $30 for ISEA members. Approximately $10,000 in prizes will be awarded, including a $2,000 Best of Show Award. All accepted artists will receive a full color catalog of the exhibition.

For 2D artwork, framed and matted pieces must use Plexiglas (no glass) with a maximum finished size of 48" in any direction and weight limit of 25 lbs. Pieces must not include glass, anti-glare glazing, frayed wire ends, saw tooth hangers, or smudged mats. For 3D artwork, two views are required with maximum freestanding dimensions of 8' H x 4' W x 4' D and weight limit of 35 lbs. Artists must submit a written statement explaining the experimental aspects of their work. Digital images must be submitted in JPG format at 300 DPI, approximately 5"x7", with total file size less than 5mb. The juror is Ruth Armitage, NWS, a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society.
