27th Annual FALC Juried Exhibition

The Fine Arts League of Cary invites artists to submit work for the 27th Annual Juried Exhibition, running May 11 through July 1, 2022. The exhibition will be held both in-person and online at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary, NC 27513.

Eligible artists are 18 and older with residences in the United States. Membership in FALC is not required. Each artist may submit up to three pieces of 2-D artwork in any medium, style, or genre, including mixed-media and photography. Art reproductions (giclees, prints, etc.) are not eligible. Artwork must be originally conceived and created after January 1, 2020. Artwork selected for previous FALC exhibitions is not eligible. Maximum size is 38" x 48" including frame. Artwork must be family-friendly and appropriate for the general public. All artwork must be available for purchase, with FALC receiving a 25% commission on sales.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three pieces and is non-refundable. Submissions are accepted online through CaFÉ from January 31 through April 7, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications of acceptance or decline will be sent by email on April 25, 2022. Local entries may be hand-delivered on May 10, 2022 from 12-4:30 p.m., or shipped artwork must be received by 5 p.m. EST on May 10, 2022. A reception and awards ceremony will be held May 27, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. The juror is Jennifer Dasal, former curator of modern and contemporary art at the North Carolina Museum of Art and host of the Art Curious Podcast. Awards include 1st Prize ($1,000), 2nd Prize ($750), 3rd Prize ($500), and five Honorable Mentions ($50 each). Contact Beth Barger at [email protected] with questions.
