26th Annual Shoreline Arts Festival

The 26th Annual Shoreline Arts Festival is a juried Artists Marketplace taking place June 25-26, 2016. The entry deadline is March 7, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fee is $20.00, and artists must submit 3-5 images of representative work, with one image showing booth set-up.

Eligibility requirements include: work must be handmade with no commercially produced items, kits, or imported goods; all work must be original and created by the artist(s); and artists must attend the entire Festival. Items displayed must match the type and quality submitted for jurying.

Two types of outdoor booth spaces are available on asphalt: 10' x 10' uncovered for $175 or 10' x 20' uncovered for $350. All booths must withstand Northwest weather conditions with canopies weighted or staked against wind. Tables and chairs are available for rental, and overnight security is provided. A Shoreline business license may be needed in addition to the booth fee. Demonstrations are strongly supported and demo artists receive highlighted publicity in the Festival guide and additional marketing. A booth sitter will be provided during demonstration time. The jury panel includes working artists, gallery managers, and Festival directors who determine category balance and select artists based in part on average sales from previous years. The Festival is advertised through local media, signage, and mailings to Shoreline area residents, and participating artists are featured in the Festival guide and on the Festival website.
