25th Juried Arts Exhibition: Appalachian Roots & Radiance

In celebration of 25 years of serving the rural West Virginia community, the Arts Center invites artists to submit work for Appalachian Roots & Radiance, a juried exhibition honoring the heritage, resilience, and creative spirit of the region. The exhibition will be held at the Arts Center in Elkins from May 4 to June 15, 2026.

The Arts Center welcomes emerging and established artists working in all media, including traditional and contemporary approaches. Artistic work is juried based on body of work (how well images represent a point of view), artistic theme (design, vision, creativity, originality), and technical execution (technique, skill, degree of difficulty, mastery of materials used). Selected exhibiting artists will receive a discounted ticket to attend the anniversary fundraiser event.

Art submission deadline is April 1, 2026. All notifications to artists will be sent via email to the address on file in the ArtCall.org system. Entries are non-refundable. The juror will be announced (TBA).
