25th Arts North International

The 25th Arts North International is a juried exhibition open to all living artists working in acrylic, ceramic, drawing, fiber, glass, mixed media, oil, pastel, print, photograph, sequential art, sculpture, and watercolor/watermedia. Entries must be original work not previously exhibited in Arts North or Arts in Harmony shows. Copies, class work, and fragile work will not be considered.

The main exhibition will be held at Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343, from Thursday, January 9 – Sunday, February 15, 2020. A traveling exhibition of select works will be hosted by the American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55407, from Friday, February 21 – Sunday, March 23, 2020. Artists may submit 2-10 digital images for $35 (first two images) plus $5 for each additional image. A maximum of three artworks may be selected for the exhibition. Work must comply with size restrictions: maximum horizontal dimension of 45 inches, with up to 2 works of 60 inches accepted if juried in. Free-standing sculpture must fit through a standard door and be light enough for a manual dolly. All hanging work must be properly framed with a hanging wire. Accepted work must remain on exhibit for the duration of the show. Artists may list accepted work for sale through HCA, which retains a 30% sales commission and collects sales tax. $10,000 in awards are available. Notification of acceptance is Tuesday, December 2, 2019. In-person drop-off is available Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4, 2020. Shipped artwork incurs a $20 per box unpacking/repacking fee and must include prepaid return shipping.
