About This Call
The 25th Annual Gold Canyon Arts Festival is a one-day event held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church, 6640 S. Kings Ranch Rd., Gold Canyon, Arizona 85118. The festival typically features 80-85 jury-selected artists and attracts over 4,000 visitors during festival hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Reserved artist booth spaces are 10 ft x 10 ft (tents are recommended but not required). The application fee is $25, and if selected, the festival fee is an additional $125 plus a contribution of one piece of artwork to support the Gold Canyon Arts Council's School Arts Education programs.
Accepted art categories include painting/drawing, photography, clay, metalwork, glass, wood, jewelry, natural products, fabric/fiber/leather, and other media. All submitted work must be original, with no brokered, factory-produced, or imported items allowed. Prints or reproductions must be labeled as such. The majority of displayed work should be current (within the last two years). Setup is from 6:00 am to 8:30 am on festival day, and takedown is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Artists are responsible for their own booth setup and display apparatus. No electricity is available.
The festival features live musical performances throughout the day and professional food vendors. Admission is free with ample free parking. Complimentary coffee and donuts are available from 6:30 am to 8:30 am. Artist hospitality volunteers are available to allow breaks, and restrooms are available inside the church. Both the application fee ($25) and booth fee ($125) are non-refundable. This is a rain or shine event; withdrawing due to weather will result in the booth fee being considered a contribution to the Arts Council. For more information, contact [email protected].
