About This Call
The Arts Council of Martin County, Florida invites artists residing in Florida to participate in its 25th Annual All Florida Juried Arts Show. Selected works will be exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center, 80 E Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34994 from Friday, September 25 through Saturday, November 14, 2015. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM; Saturday, 11 AM to 2 PM. Contact: 772.287.6676.
Eligibility is open to artists residing in Florida. Artists may submit 1-3 images of 2D and 3D original work in all media completed in the last 36 months and not previously exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center. Giclees are accepted in photography only. Entry fee is $30.00 for one image, with a $5.00 fee for each additional image (up to 3 total). Arts Council member artists receive the third image free. Images must conform to CaFÉ guidelines: 1920 pixels on the longest side, saved as Baseline Standard JPEG. Submission deadline is Friday, July 31, 2015 by 11:59 PM Mountain Time through CaFÉ (www.CallForEntry.org). Selection notice will be sent Monday, August 24, 2015.
Artwork delivery is Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The exhibition opening reception and awards ceremony is Friday, September 25, 2015, 5:30 to 7 PM. Artwork pickup is Monday, November 16, 2015 from 10 AM to 2 PM. 2D work must be properly framed with wire for hanging, using plexi-glass only, with maximum framed width of 60 inches. 3D work is limited to 70 lbs maximum weight. Artists are encouraged to price work for sale; a 20% donation benefiting the Arts Council will be deducted from all sales. Awards include First, Second, Third, and Three Honorable Mentions.
