About This Call
Baptist Health is seeking a suspended sculptural artwork for the lobby of a medical center in Jacksonville, Florida. The project budget is $250,000.
Work sample requirements: Submit 1-16 images, 0-2 audio files, and 0-2 video files (maximum 20 total samples). Eligibility is open to artists nationally. The application deadline is August 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
Anticipated project schedule: Qualifications received by August 1, 2020. Artist finalists will be notified by August 15, 2020. Final design proposals are due October 1, 2020, with final artist/design selection by October 15, 2020. The artist/Baptist Health agreement will be signed by November 15, 2020. Fabrication and delivery of the sculpture is expected by October 15, 2021, with installation complete by November 1, 2021. The unveiling and dedication is scheduled for December 2021.
