About This Call
The Bath House Cultural Center and exhibition curator Jose Vargas invite visual artists to submit entries for the 24th Annual El Corazón art exhibition. Since 1993, Mr. Vargas has organized the El Corazón art exhibition in Dallas. This annual exhibition gives artists an opportunity to create various artistic interpretations of the human heart, an important and universal symbol in art.
The suggested theme for this year is Hearts and Music. Artists are invited to create work based on a favorite song, a particular style of music, or a musician. Submissions might combine the symbol of the heart with musical instruments or explore the feelings experienced when hearing music.
Submissions must include 1-2 images. The exhibition runs from February 4 to March 17, 2018. For the exhibition prospectus, visit http://www.bathhousemedia.com/corazon
