About This Call
The Arts Council of Martin County, Florida invites artists residing in Florida to participate in its 24th Annual Juried Arts Show. Selected works will be exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center, 80 E Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34994, from Friday, September 19 through Friday, November 7, 2014. Exhibition hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM; Saturday, 11 AM to 2 PM.
Eligibility is open to artists residing in Florida. Submissions must be 2D and 3D original work in all media completed in the last 36 months and not previously exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center. Giclees will be accepted in photography only. Submit 1-3 digital images (1920 x 1920 pixels, Baseline Standard JPEG) through CaFÉ. Entry fee is $30.00 for one image; additional images are $5.00 each. Arts Council member artists receive the third image free. Submission deadline is Friday, July 25, 2014 by 11:59 PM Mountain Time. Artists will be notified of selection by Monday, August 18, 2014.
Artwork delivery is Friday, September 12, 2014 from 10 AM to 2 PM. The exhibition opening reception and awards ceremony is Friday, September 19, 2014, 5:30 to 7 PM. Artwork pickup is Monday, November 10, 2014, from 10 AM to 2 PM. 2D work must be properly framed with wire attached for hanging, using plexi-glass only, with maximum framed width of 60
