23rd Arts in Harmony 2018 Annual International Show

The 23rd Arts in Harmony 2018 Annual International Show is open to all living artists. Entries must be original work not previously exhibited in an Arts in Harmony show. Accepted media includes paintings (oil, acrylic, and watercolor), pastels, drawings, hand-pulled prints, mixed media, fiber, photography, ceramics, glass, sculpture, and sequential art. Artwork must be suitable for viewing by people of all ages. Nudes, copies, class work, and fragile work will not be considered. Maximum width of horizontal dimension is 45 inches (112 centimeters). Up to two works with dimensions of 60 inches (150 centimeters) may be accepted. A maximum of three artworks per artist may be selected for the Main Show.

Entry fees are $35 for two images and $5 for each additional image, with a maximum of 10 images submitted. An early in-person drop-off fee is $10 per artist, and a $15 fee applies for box handling for shipped artwork. Shipped artwork must be accompanied with a prepaid return shipping label. Entries are accepted online at www.CallForEntry.org from Wednesday, July 5 through Monday, November 13, 2017, at 11:59:59 pm Mountain Time. Notification of acceptance is Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

The Main Show will be held at Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343, from Thursday, February 15 through Friday, March 16, 2018. A traveling show will be hosted by the American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55407, from Friday, March 30 through Sunday, May 6, 2018. A second traveling show will be hosted by the Maple Grove Arts Center, 11666 Fountains Drive, Maple Grove, MN 55369, from Monday, April 2 through Thursday, May 3, 2018. Early in-person drop-off and shipping are located at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 1900 Seventh Street NW, New Brighton, MN 55112. Free in-person drop-off of accepted artwork is Sunday, February 11, and Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. A reception will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
