22nd Annual Martin County Court House Cultural Center Juried Art Show

The Arts Council, Inc., of Martin County, Florida invites artists residing in Florida to participate in its 22nd Annual Juried Arts Show. Selected works will be exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center, located in historic downtown Stuart, from Friday, September 14 through Wednesday, November 14, 2012. The Arts Council of Martin County has been a leader in the arts community for more than 30 years, providing services to visual and performing artists, arts organizations, students and the public.

Eligibility is open to artists residing in Florida. Submissions must be 2D and 3D original work in all media completed in the last 12 months and not previously exhibited at the Courthouse Cultural Center. Giclees will be accepted in photography only. Submit digital images conforming to CaFE guidelines (1920 x 1920 pixels, Baseline Standard JPEG). A non-refundable entry fee of $30.00 covers one image per artist. A maximum of three images may be submitted per artist, with a $5.00 fee for each additional image. Arts Council member artists receive their third image free. Applications, fees and images must be received by Wednesday, July 18, 2012 by 12:00 Midnight. Artists will be notified of selection by Friday, August 10, 2012.

Artwork delivery is Friday, September 7, 2012, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Court House Cultural Center, 80 East Ocean Blvd, Stuart, Florida 34994. The Exhibition Opening Reception & Awards is Friday, September 14, 2012, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Artwork pickup is Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Exhibition hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM; Saturday, 11 AM to 2 PM. Awards include Best of Show, First, Second, Third and Three Honorable Mentions. A 20% donation benefiting the Arts Council will be deducted from all sales. Artists are responsible for shipping their work and arranging return of unsold artwork.
