20th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show

The 20th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show at the Lone Tree Arts Center invites local photographers to exhibit work across five categories: Animals, Architecture, Landscape (including nightscapes), Portraits, and Still Life. Photographers may submit up to 3 images with a $35 non-refundable entry fee. Images must be originals completed within the last two years and not previously shown in a Lone Tree Photo Show.

All submitted images are juried through a blind review process by professional photographer Dawn Wilson. Awards include first, second, and third place in each category, plus Best of Show and People's Choice, with estimated total cash awards of $3,350. Award-winning photographers receive gallery space at the Lone Tree Arts Center for several weeks following the show. All accepted images must be for sale, with the Arts Center retaining a 20% commission on sales.

Images must be professionally framed and ready to hang, meeting gallery quality standards. Frames must be undamaged with reinforced hardware and picture hanging wire installed 1/3 from the top edge. Finished framed images cannot exceed 48x48 inches or weigh more than 35 pounds. Drop-off is March 28th from 5:00pm-7:00pm, and pick-up is June 6th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. The exhibit runs March 30th through June 5th, with viewing hours Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and 2 hours prior to performances. Photographers must be able to deliver and retrieve work in person; no shipping is accepted.
