About This Call
World of Wearable Art (WOW) invites designers and creators to challenge the conventional and create the unimaginable through wearable art. For almost four decades, WOW has welcomed finalists from all corners of the globe and a broad spectrum of creative and technical disciplines – from fashion and costume designers, to jewellers, architects, and engineers.
This international competition features a total prize pool of over $200,000 NZD. Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts and Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline. International designers have until February 26, 2026 to complete their garments and submit online. New Zealand designers have until April 15, 2026. Following the submission deadline, the selection and judging process takes place.
