About This Call
Moku Art Studio is announcing its 2026 Open Calls for virtual art residency programs. There are four programs available, each with distinct focus areas and separate application deadlines:
Ocean (deadlines: January 21, 2026 and March 31, 2026) focuses on ocean education, protection, and conservation. Our Land (deadline: February 17, 2026) explores terrestrial ecosystems, biodiversity loss, and ancestral knowledge. Atmos-fear (deadline: June 10, 2026) addresses climate change and human activities that have warmed the atmosphere, ocean, and land. Sustainability (deadline: July 31, 2026) focuses on the interconnected well-being of the planet and culture advancing sustainable development.
Applications are submitted through a single, streamlined form in collaboration with MANGO, allowing artists to apply to multiple programs if desired. The Ocean Virtual Art Residency is an endorsed UN Ocean Decade activity, while the new programs are inspired by UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goals. For complete program details and to apply, visit the full Open Call page at https://www.mokuartstudio.com/open-call-residency-programs-2026.
