2026 Traffic Box Wraps

The City of Centennial is seeking local artists to provide public art for traffic box wraps as part of its annual efforts to bring art into the community. 2026 marks special anniversaries: the US's 250th, Colorado's 150th, and Centennial's 25th. Artists are encouraged to consider these noteworthy occasions in their submissions.

Artists may submit up to 6 different pieces of art for consideration. The top 12 pieces will be selected as winning submissions, with each artist receiving $250 for each winning submission. Submissions must be original artwork designed specifically for this call and formatted as 5-sided art. Artwork must be in digital medium and formatted correctly—submissions not meeting formatting guidelines will be automatically disqualified. Vector format (.AI, .EPS, .SVG) is preferred for printing, though PDF, TIFF, or RAW formats are also accepted. Scanned versions of originally non-digital artwork are welcome.

The City of Centennial reserves the right to select which art is best suited for each available location. Traffic boxes have variable sizes and configurations that may require adjustments to art files. Upon approval and receipt of a signed agreement, the City will request appropriate digital files as specified. Winning artists and artwork will be celebrated at Centennial Under the Stars on August 8, 2026 at Centennial Center Park. Entry fee is $5.00. Jury dates: 3/9/26 - 3/30/26.
