About This Call
The 2026 Stampede Western Art Exhibition and Sale celebrates the western way of life and supports scholarships in Weld County through the Stampede Foundation. The exhibition runs June 23 - July 5, 2026 at Island Grove Event Center, 421 North 15th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631.
Entry fee is $50.00 for up to 3 juried pieces (youth entry is free). Artists may also submit up to 5 unframed artworks at no additional charge in the bin area (maximum bin size 16" x 20"). All Weld County high school students (9-12th grade) are invited to enter one piece for free. Youth artists are juried to top 8 submissions for display and are eligible to win art awards: First place $500.00, Second place $250, Third place $200, and 4-8 place $100 each. Works must be original, not previously entered in this show, and not created under tutelage or using kits or patterns. Giclees, enhanced digital artwork, photography, and lithographs are not eligible. All art must be for sale with a 30% commission applied (70% of sale price to artist). Two-dimensional entries must be framed, dry, and wired for hanging; finished gallery wrap canvas with wire hanger is acceptable. Prints are allowed.
Entry deadline is May 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. MDT via callforentry.org. Shipped art must arrive by June 12, 2026. Hand-delivered art is accepted June 19-20, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Island Grove Event Center. Art pickup is July 6, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Optional donations of additional pieces for the kick-off reception live auction are welcome; auction proceeds benefit the Stampede Foundation.
