2026 Sculpture in the Square - Fort Collins

Old Town Square is nestled snugly amongst historic buildings in the heart of Fort Collins, Colorado and is home to weekly concerts in the summer and year-round festivals, shopping, and dining. The goal is to expose the citizens of Fort Collins to quality art and artists, compensate artists well, and help promote their talents.

Six sculptures will be chosen for a year-long, outdoor exhibit that will be installed on Saturday, April 25, 2026 and remain for one year. Each artist will receive a $1,500 honorarium. A People's Choice award of $1,000 will be awarded at the end of September 2026. If artwork is sold while on loan, a 10% commission will be retained.

Highly durable and resilient sculptures of any media that are at least 4 feet tall are accepted from artists nationwide. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces. Each piece must have a metal plate adhered to its base that will be welded to the metal plate on the plinth, and must fit on a 2' x 2' or 3' x 3' plinth. Artists or their representatives must be present for installation on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
