About This Call
The Pink Palace Crafts Fair is a three-day family-oriented celebration of the arts held on the grounds of the Pink Palace Museum (3050 Central Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee) on September 25-27, 2026. It is the largest juried arts and crafts fair in the Mid-South and one of the oldest established crafts fairs in the country at 54 years. The fair attracts artists from across the country and features shopping, demonstrations, food, and family activities with thousands of shoppers over the three days.
Applicants are classified into two exhibitor categories: Juried Fine Crafts (individually and authentically handcrafted items with original designs, including fine crafts and two-dimensional artwork such as paintings, photographs, and drawings) and Juried Handicraft (handcrafted items including home craft and hobbyist work, where found items may be used). A Juried Culinary category is also available for food designed for off-site consumption. Commercially manufactured items, imports, kit-made items, and non-original patterns or molds are prohibited in all categories. The fair accepts work in the following mediums: acrylic, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalwork, musical instruments, oil, papermaking, pastel, pen/ink, photography, printmaking, stencil, stonework, tempera, textile/fiber/leather, watercolor, woodworking, and found objects, as well as mixed media and other categories.
Artists must be present during all hours of the fair (Friday-Sunday, 10AM-5PM). Best of Show and Merit awards are given. The application fee is $35.00, and applicants may submit up to 4 applications. The application deadline is April 30, 2026, with jury notification by May 12, 2026. Artist check-in and setup occur Wednesday, September 23 (11AM-4PM) and Thursday, September 24 (10AM-6PM). Amenities include a crafts fair t-shirt, booth sitting services, and coffee/fruit each morning from 8-9:30AM. Contact the Pink Palace Crafts Fair office at 901-636-2408 for questions.
