2026 Open Call | Dama Gallery, Los Angeles

Dama Gallery, located in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles on Gallery Row, invites artists to submit work for exhibition consideration. The gallery is part of a vibrant arts district comprising over 50 distinguished galleries, museums, theaters, and public art installations.

Accepted media includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional work, digital art, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All artwork must be original, unsold, and owned solely by the artist. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Submissions should include 3-20 images, biography, artist statement, website, and social media accounts.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $5 per image up to a maximum of 20 images. Exhibition lengths vary from 1 to 3 months depending on the artist's medium and work sizes. Entries submitted by 2/28/2026 are considered for exhibition in Downtown Los Angeles. Selections are made weekly throughout the month by the curator. Featured artists are invited to attend receptions and may be invited for recorded interviews or panel discussions. Selected artists will be considered for representation by Dama Gallery, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, marketing support, online inventory listing, and website profile. Dama Gallery retains a 50% commission on sales. Sales remittance occurs 5-7 business days after exhibition and/or upon buyer payment finalization.
