About This Call
The Arts Center of Yates County invites artists to submit original 2-dimensional work for the 2026 National Juried Show, running August 11 – September 19, 2026 at the Flick Gallery, 127 Main Street, Penn Yan, NY. Open to all artists in the USA and Canada. Entry deadline is June 30, 2026. Entries open April 6, 2026.
Eligible work includes paintings in all media, drawings, collage, hand-pulled prints (lithography, etching, screen print, relief, etc.), and original digitally manipulated art created with digital brushes. AI-generated work and reproduction prints are not accepted. Work must be original, wholly designed and executed by the artist, created within the last 4 years, and not exceed 36" x 36" overall including frame. All work must be sturdily framed and wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers). Entry fee: $35 for ACYC members or $40 for non-members, covering up to 3 entries. Over $1000 in cash prizes will be awarded. Notifications will be emailed by July 13, 2026.
Accepted work must be shipped via FedEx or UPS to Lana Grauer, 2324 Cortlandt Road, Penn Yan, NY 14527, arriving by August 3. Alternatively, artwork may be hand-delivered to the Flick Gallery on Monday, August 10 between 9 am and 12 noon. Artwork must be picked up September 19 from 10 am - 4 pm or September 21 from 9 am - 12 noon. Work may be for sale or marked NFS; artists selling work will be charged a 38% commission.
