The Attleboro Arts Museum's 2026 national juried exhibition, Country, is part of the museum's year-long programming celebrating the United States' 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The exhibition will be on display June 11th – July 10th, 2026 at Attleboro Arts Museum, 86 Park Street, Attleboro, MA.
Artists are invited to submit original artwork interpreting "Country" in any medium. Possible themes include countryside scenes, country of origin, personal declarations of independence, country music icons, fireworks, founding mothers, yearning for a more perfect union, or other interpretations. All mediums and interpretations from artists living in the US are eligible. There is no size limit, but all 2D and 3D submissions cannot weigh over 75 lbs each. All 2D work must be framed, gallery-wrapped, or finished on the edges (no staples showing) and ready to hang at delivery with a sturdy wire hanging system. No saw-tooth hangers. Neutral frames and white or off-white mats are highly recommended. Artwork with wet paint or unsecured/undried materials will not be accepted.
Entry fee is $18 for up to two pieces for Museum members; $25 for up to two pieces for non-members. All artists will receive notification of the juror's decision by Thursday, May 14th at 7PM, ET. Sales are subject to the AAM's commission of 30% for AAM members and 40% for non-members. Applications are submitted online at attleboroartsmuseum.org/calls-for-artists/.
