2026 GA Watercolor NTL Juried Show

The Georgia Watercolor Society presents their 2026 National Juried Show with first prize of $2,000 and anticipated $12,000 in total awards. Entry fee is $35 for members and $60 for non-members, with up to three images accepted per artist. The juror is Carol Carter, who will also conduct a workshop April 15-17 and demonstration on April 18.

This in-person exhibition will be held at the Carrollton Center for the Arts, featuring a 3,000-square-foot gallery space. The exhibition opens April 18 and closes May 22, 2026. All work must be completed after January 1, 2024, and must be original from conception to completion. Accepted water media include watercolor, acrylic, casein, gouache, egg tempera, water-soluble ink, and batik using watermedia with wax resist on paper. Work done in workshops or under supervision is not permitted.

Paintings must be framed in plain wood or metal frames (gold, silver, black, brown, white, or natural wood) not exceeding 3 inches in width, with plexiglass and wire hanging system. Maximum frame size is 48 inches in either direction, with image size no smaller than 80 square inches. Sales commission is 40% (30% to venue, 10% to GWS). Shipped work must arrive April 1-3, 2026, and hand-delivered work is accepted April 4, 2026, between 11 am and 2 pm.
