2026 From Dusk to Dawn Juried Nocturne Art Show

The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association invites submissions for the annual "From Dusk to Dawn" Juried Nocturne Art Show. This exhibition is open to all LPAPA Signature, Artist, and Student Members in good standing, with membership current through September 2026.

Artwork must feature nocturne subject matter created in plein air or in studio between dusk and dawn within the last year. Original paintings only; no digital artwork accepted. Unframed artwork must be between 18 and 60 united inches (length + width combined). All accepted work must be professionally framed, glazed, wired, and ready to hang. Artwork cannot have been previously shown in a LPAPA Gallery exhibition.

Submissions open January 2026 through OnlineJuriedShows with a deadline of Monday, June 15, 2026 (before midnight PDT). Entry fee is $40 for up to 2 images; additional images are $5 each, with a maximum of 6 images. No more than 3 entries per artist will be accepted as Finalist and/or Semi-Finalist. Notifications will be sent by Monday, June 22, 2026. Gallery Finalists Exhibition runs August 6-31, 2026 at The LPAPA Gallery (414 N. Coast Hwy., Laguna Beach, CA 92651). City Hall Semi-Finalists Exhibition runs August 10 - September 18, 2026 at City Hall (505 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach, CA 92651). An Art Walk Reception with awards announcement is scheduled for Thursday, August 6th (6PM-9PM). Gallery Finalist awards include: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $300, 3rd Place $200, and Honorable Mention $100. Sales commission is 50% to artist, 50% to LPAPA.
