2026 Fine Art Student Juried Exhibition

The 2026 Fine Art Student Juried Exhibition serves as a showcase for the Sinclair Community College Art Department and honors the student body's artistic achievements. The exhibition will be presented in the Burnell R. Roberts Triangle Gallery and other gallery spaces in Building 13, as well as online at www.sinclaircollegeartgalleries.org and on Instagram and Facebook @sinclaircollegeartgalleries. The exhibition runs March 24–April 14, 2026.

Works will be selected by outside juror Britny Wainwright, Visiting Assistant Professor and Director of Foundations Studies at Ohio State University. Awards include Best of Show, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place, each receiving one-year memberships to the Dayton Society of Artists and The Co., along with art supply gift cards and possibly additional prizes. The juror's decision is final.

Entry qualifications: Work must be produced after February 20, 2025, created as a direct result of an ART studio class at Sinclair Community College (VIS/IND classes are not eligible), and not previously exhibited in the juried exhibition. All work must be original student work. Students may enter no more than 5 works across the following categories: Ceramics, Collage, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture. Submissions are accepted February 5–19, 2026 until 11:59 p.m. EST. Notifications will be sent by March 2, 2026 via email. Accepted artwork drop-off is March 17–18, 2026, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–5:30 p.m. at Gallery Office, Room 13400. A reception will be held March 26, 2026, 4:30–6 p.m. in Building 13, 4th Floor Atrium. Artwork pick-up is April 15–16, 2026, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–5:30 p.m. at Gallery Office, Room 13400. All 2-D work must be ready to hang with proper wiring. Photography must be mounted and matted under glass on white archival mounting board with minimum frame size 11" x 14" and minimum 3" white border. No artwork for sale may be removed until the exhibition closes.
