2026 Exhibitions at The Art Base

The Art Base invites Colorado-based artists to apply for one-person or small group exhibitions. Visual artists over the age of 18 living within a 75-mile radius of the Art Base are eligible to apply, with an emphasis on those living in the Roaring Fork Valley. The Art Base offers supportive, professional exhibitions with a small and dedicated team committed to making each show unique and distinctive in the Aspen Valley.

Applications must include 6 to 10 hi-resolution images of your work (up to 15 for group proposals), a show proposal, an artist statement for the proposed show, CV and bio, and 2 professional references. The entry fee is $30.00. 2026 marks the 30-year anniversary of the Art Base, and applications are limited to artists within a 75-mile radius of the organization's location. If you have previously had a solo exhibition at the Art Base, there must be a minimum of 3 years between your last exhibition dates and your re-application. Group proposal applicants are not prohibited from applying for a solo exhibition within the next five years.

The jury panel is comprised of local artists and art professionals. The Art Base provides equal opportunity for all artists and does not discriminate on the basis of gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Jury dates are January 19 - April 1, 2025.
