About This Call
The prestigious Culture & Agriculture Art Exhibit, a beloved tradition for the past 36 years at the New Visions Gallery in Marshfield, moved to Gallery Q in Stevens Point in 2025. This cherished event annually attracts hundreds of visitors and celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of Wisconsin, the Midwest, and the United States. Through a juried exhibition, we highlight both historical and contemporary perspectives, bringing together the best in art and culture. Located in the heart of downtown Stevens Point, Gallery Q has been an anchor of the local art scene for over 16 years.
The juror Daniel John O'Neal will select artwork through an online jury process, with final award selections made in person after viewing the installed exhibition. Awards include Best of Show ($1,000), People's Choice ($500), 1st Place ($450), 2nd Place ($350), 3rd Place ($250), and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each). Artists may enter up to two works for consideration with a $30 entry fee. Work should not exceed 75 pounds and no dimension should exceed 80 inches.
Open to all artists 18 years and older, artwork must be inspired by agriculture, whether representational or abstract, and may include rural landscapes, farm life, or broader agricultural themes. All two- and three-dimensional media are welcome. Submitted work must be created within the past five years. Artists must include a statement describing how their piece connects to Culture & Agriculture themes. Acceptance notification will be sent by email on February 7, 2026.
