2026 CPA Members Juried Exhibition

The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2026 Members' Juried Exhibition, offering $2,400 in awards and prizes. The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide, over the age of 18, working in all still photographic media, provided they are a CPA member. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible.

Fortyfive images selected by juror Dr. Rebecca Senf will be exhibited in the historic CPA gallery in Carmel, CA, and featured in an online gallery on the CPA website. Up to an additional forty-five images will be selected for the online gallery. All selected gallery and online images will be published in the 2026 Members' Juried Exhibition catalog. Awards include: Best of Show ($1,000), 2nd place ($500), 3rd place ($250), five merit awards ($50 each), Jack Wasserbach Award for B&W Photography ($250), and People's Choice Award ($150).

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with $5 for each additional image (up to 20 total). Submissions open January 1, 2026 and close February 9, 2026 at 11:59pm MST. All entrants will be notified of results via email after February 20, 2026. For invited gallery artists, artwork must arrive at CPA no later than Thursday, March 19, 2026. The exhibition runs March 28–May 10, 2026, with a reception and awards presentation on March 28 at 4:00–6:00pm. Gallery-exhibited work must be ready-to-hang, not exceed 30 inches on the long side, weigh less than 10 pounds, and be glazed with acrylic Plexiglas only (no glass). Images must be submitted at 1920 pixels (long dimension) @ 72 ppi, AdobeRGB(1998) profile, saved as 8-bit JPEG, not exceeding 5MB, with no visible names, titles, or watermarks. Each image must be titled; "Untitled" is not allowed.
