About This Call
The 2026 Annual Juried Student Exhibition is open to all degree-seeking students currently enrolled at Indiana State University. Artworks must have been completed while enrolled at ISU and not previously exhibited in The Yang Family University Art Gallery.
Each student may submit up to 3 works in any medium, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media, video, graphic design, and digital art. Artworks must not exceed 72 inches in any direction and must be ready to install. Works on paper or delicate works must be framed behind glass or plexiglass. Works exceeding 36 inches in any direction must be behind plexiglass. Canvas works must be stretched with hanging devices (wires, d-rings, or French cleats) on the back. Printed digital works should be mounted on foam-core. Video works must be formatted as 1920x1080px and saved as mp4 files on USB flash drives. All works must be labeled on the back with title, year, medium, dimensions, signature, and value.
Submission deadline is November 14, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Notification of acceptance will be sent December 1, 2025. Selected works must be dropped off January 12-14, 2026 (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) at The Yang Family University Art Gallery, 300 North 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47809. The exhibition runs January 26 through February 20, 2026, with a reception and award ceremony on February 12, 2026 (4-6 p.m. reception, 4:30-5:30 p.m. award ceremony in Margaret L. Boyce Recital Hall). Work collection is February 23-26, 2026 (11 a.m.-4 p.m.). Uncollected works will become the property of the University Art Galleries.
