About This Call
The Seattle Convention Center (SCC) is accepting proposals for the Rotating Art Program for calendar years 2026 and 2027. This is an invitation-only call for organizations who have previously exhibited at the SCC. Proposals are for group shows representing at least 5 artists, with each show including up to 70 framed or two-dimensional works. A small number of three-dimensional works may be accommodated within SCC-owned plexi-vitrine cases.
The SCC Art Program highlights the artistic vitality of the region in the Phyllis Lamphere Gallery, located on Level 2 of the SCC Arch Building at 705 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101. The gallery is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for convention and meeting attendees, visitors, and citizens. The SCC contracts for professional installation of exhibitions. Organizations must curate or self-jury their proposed exhibit to ensure that only reviewed works will be exhibited. Works must be suitable for display by a public entity for a diverse, all-ages audience (rated G).
Accepted media include painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, mixed media, and 3D works that fit inside SCC vitrines. Applicants should submit 10-20 images of representative work and indicate their preferred exhibit period (Jan-Apr, May-Aug, or Sept-Dec). Submission deadline: December 5, 2025. Notification of acceptance: on or before December 15, 2025.
