2025/26 Artist Alliance Biennial

This is a juried art exhibition at Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) featuring outstanding recent works by members of OMA's Artist Alliance. Artwork will be on view in the Rusty and Bebe Grosse Gallery from November 22, 2025 through March 8, 2026. A public reception will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 5:00–7:00pm.

Artists may submit up to 20 entries. Artwork must have been completed within the last five years (2020 or later). Priority will be given to works that have not been displayed in an Artist Alliance exhibition in the past five years. All submissions must be original works of art; no giclées or reproductions are accepted, with the exception of limited edition prints or photography. Artwork may be in any media or style, including work depicting nudity. Two- or three-dimensional work is accepted with a maximum of 120" in any direction and 100 lbs. Edges of unframed two-dimensional artwork must be finished or gallery wrapped. Works must arrive ready to hang with D Rings preferred for wall-mounted pieces, or may be ceiling mounted, free standing, or pedestal standing. If non-standard installation is required, clear and detailed instructions must be provided.

Entry fee is $25 for the first submission and $10 for each additional submission. Scholarships are available; contact [email protected] for consideration. The deadline to submit is Monday, September 22, 2025, at 10:59pm PST. Notifications of selected artworks will be provided on or before Friday, October 17, 2025. Art drop-off/delivery to OMA is November 10-12, 2025, from 12:00–3:00pm, with additional appointments available. Artwork may be shipped to the museum or transported by the artist. The jurors are Chantel Paul, Patric Stillman, and Katie Dolgov, OMA Director of Exhibitions and Collections.

Awards include a Grand Prize of a solo exhibition at OMA opening in 2026 or 2027, plus $1,000 First Place, $500 Second Place, and $250 Third Place. Eligibility is limited to current OMA members with the Artist Alliance affiliate membership add-on. Artists who are not members must submit their membership applications with the Artist Alliance add-on before submitting artwork. Details on membership can be found at oma-online.org/membership.
