2025 UNCP Art Alumni Biennial Juried Exhibition

The A.D. Gallery at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites UNCP Art Alumni to submit work for the 2025 UNCP Art Alumni Biennial Juried Exhibition. This exhibition is open to all graduates from a UNCP art, art education, or art history degree program. Works must be completed after graduation, preferably within the last three years, and should be original. Artists are invited to submit two-dimensional or three-dimensional works, installations, or digital media including video-based media.

Artists may submit up to 3 works. Work samples should include 1-3 images in JPEG format at 72 dpi, no larger than 1024 pixels x 768 pixels. Video submissions must be no longer than 5 minutes. An artist statement, UNCP graduation year, and degree program must be included with submissions. The entry deadline is Saturday, March 22, 2025. There is no entry fee. Juror notification will be sent by Monday, March 31, 2025.

Accepted artists must deliver work by Thursday, April 24, 2025 (shipped artwork must arrive by Monday, April 21, 2025, at 5 p.m.). Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping costs. UPS or FedEx is the preferred shipping method. All packages must include a prepaid return address label. The exhibition runs August 18 – September 13, 2025, with a closing reception on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 12 – 2 p.m. Work may be picked up or returned between September 13 – 19, 2025. Awards include $300 first prize, $200 second prize, and $100 third prize. Wall-mounted work must not exceed 5' in height or width and 60 lbs. All 2-D work must be framed under plexiglass or glass (except canvas works) and wired with hanging devices. Pedestals will be provided for 3-D work. The gallery is equipped with three 52" monitors and an LCD projector for multimedia presentations.
