About This Call
The 2025 TulsaCC Juried Student Art Exhibition invites student work created in TCC Art courses from Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. Students who have graduated or transferred after one of these semesters remain eligible to participate with work created at TCC. This is a free opportunity for all Tulsa Community College students, regardless of major. Applicants may submit 1-5 artworks, which can be a mixture of 2D and 3D work. All artwork must be original and created in a TCC Art course; reproductions and master copies are not accepted.
Selected works will be juried by two art professionals: Jason Rafferty, an Applied Assistant Professor of 2D Visual Art at the University of Tulsa with an MFA from the Lamar Dodd School of Art, and Sally C. Garner, a fiber sculptor with an MFA in Textiles from Georgia State University. Jurying will take place March 15-21, 2025. Applicants whose work is accepted will be notified via their TCC campus email with details for bringing artwork to campus for exhibition installation.
Artists selected for the exhibition will compete for three awards: Best in Show ($200), and two Juror's Choice awards ($100 each). Submissions must include high-quality images photographed on white background (unless site-specific work), in-focus, with even lighting and no hotspots or dramatic shadows. Images must be filter-free. Composite images showing up to two views are accepted for three-dimensional works. Applications are submitted through CaFE and the entry deadline is March 14, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
