About This Call
The 2025 Student Art Show is a juried exhibition at MCC Gallery open to students enrolled in Mesa Community College ART or AVC courses during Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024, or Spring 2025. Students in the MCC Art Department represent a broad range of backgrounds and educational goals, united by their passion for art and design.
Participants may submit up to three works in any 2D, 3D, or digital fine art or commercial medium, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, sculpture, fibers, wood, metal, glass, film/video, animation, graphic design, or other creative mediums. Applicants must provide their MCCCD-issued 10-digit MEID. Work samples may include 1-3 images, 0-2 audio files, and 0-2 video files, with a total of 1-4 samples.
Participation in this exhibition provides students with experience in photographing their work, responding to a call for entry, preparing work for gallery display, and presenting their art to a wide audience. Awardees will receive scholarship funds through their MCC student account and will not receive any cash refund until account balances have been paid in full. Artworks accepted into the 2024 Student Art Show are no longer eligible.
