About This Call
Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA invites emerging artists to submit proposals for a solo exhibition in the Feature Foyer gallery space. This prominent space is located at the gallery's entrance with ample natural light and street-facing visibility. The exhibition will run alongside the annual ceramics competition Off Center, making this an excellent opportunity for ceramicists or sculptors to exhibit their work.
Preference will be given to artists who can demonstrate a cohesive artistic narrative, offer a range of artwork sizes and price points to engage a broad audience, and work in medium-to-small-scale two-dimensional or sculptural formats. Sculptures should not exceed approximately 24 inches in any dimension. The Feature Foyer space is not suitable for large-scale works or installations. All artwork must be original, completed within the last 2–5 years, and not previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts. Two-dimensional artwork must be ready to hang with a wire installed and must be individually for sale. Artwork must fit through doors with a clearance of 94"h x 91"w, with ceilings 10 feet high and a maximum weight of 60 lbs.
Exhibition dates are March 22–May 3, 2025. The application deadline is January 17, 2025 at 5pm PST. Applicants must be 18 years or older and submit at least 3 works (maximum 10 images). The entry fee is $35 for non-members; current Blue Line Arts Artist Members ($75 or above) are free. Artists will receive a 50% commission for non-members and 60% for members. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must provide a prepaid return label from FedEx or UPS. Notification of results will be sent by February 14, 2025 at 5pm PST. The opening reception is April 19, 2025, 5-7pm. For questions, contact Blue Line Arts at (916) 783-4117 or [email protected].
