2025 Solo or Two-Person Show Application

Located in Basalt, Colorado, the Art Base fosters creative expression in the visual arts through education for all ages and abilities, mentorships for young artists, and curated exhibit opportunities for Colorado fine artists in two galleries. This call presents opportunities for solo, group, and guest-curated exhibitions of Colorado-based fine artists with an emphasis on those living in the Roaring Fork Valley. All mediums will be considered.

The Art Base offers a supportive professional solo exhibition experience with a dedicated team of installers, curators, designers, and exhibition managers who collaborate with artists to make each show unique.

Applicants must submit 6 to 12 hi-resolution images of their work, a show proposal, an artist statement for the proposed show, CV and bio, and 2 professional references. You must be a Colorado resident to apply. If you have previously had a solo exhibition at the Art Base, there must be a minimum of 5 years between your exhibition and your re-application. Entry fee is $35.00.
