About This Call
The 2025 Small Works Holiday Art Market is an annual celebration of compact, inspired creations. This in-person and online event runs from Friday, December 5 through Saturday, December 20, with an opening reception on Friday, December 5 from 6-8 pm and show hours Saturday, December 6 - Saturday, December 20, 12-5 pm. This is a "cash and carry" event where visitors can purchase original artwork and take it home the same day. Only members of AOY Art Center are eligible to submit work, and all works must be for sale.
2D artists may submit up to 3 pieces per entry, with a maximum size of 11"x14" (excluding frame) and maximum price of $300 per piece. The entry fee for 2D work is $20. All 2D work must be professionally presented, wired with d-hooks, and ready for hanging. 3D artists (pottery, jewelry, and other artisans) may rent shelves: a small shelf (10"x34") costs $30 total ($20 entry fee + $10 rental), and a large shelf (10"x55") costs $40 total ($20 entry fee + $20 rental). Only 6 shelves of each size are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 3D artists may enter up to 10 pieces per entry and must provide their own displays and gift boxes/bags.
Deadline for entries is Saturday, November 29. Artwork must be delivered Sunday, November 30, 12-2 pm or Monday, December 1, 10 am-12 pm to AOY Art Center, 949 Mirror Lake Road, Yardley, PA. Unsold work must be picked up Saturday, December 20, 5-7 pm or Monday, December 22, 10 am-12 pm. AOY takes 30% of sales for individual items priced $100 or over. All participating artists must serve as a Gallery Host for at least one 2.5-hour shift. For special drop-off or pick-up arrangements, contact Bette at [email protected].
